2022 State Champions
In 2022 the Trojans won their third straight 6A state title defeating FW Carroll 35-9. This was the Trojans 4th straight trip to the state finals and 5th championship victory. They finished the 2022 season with a 12-2 record.

2021 State Champions
CG finished the 2021 season as back to back undefeated state champions with a 27-21 victory over Westfield. They were ranked 7th in the nation by Max Preps.

2020 State Champions
The Trojans made it to their second straight state championship game in 2020, this time coming out on top to win their third state title in football. The Trojans defeated Westfield 38-14, capping off an undefeated season. They finished the season ranked 12th in the nation by Max Preps.

2015 State Champions
The Trojans won their second football state championship (first in 6A) in 2015 defeating the Penn Kingsmen 28-16. CG was a perfect 14-0 on the season.

2008 State Champions
In 2008, the Trojans won their first state championship, rallying from a 19 point fourth quarter deficit, to beat the Carmel Greyhounds 36-33. The Trojans were also MIC conference champs and finished the season with a 14-1 record. Luke Swift was the winner of the Phil N. Eskew Mental Attitude Award in Class 5A football.
